Quantitative Developer

We are working with a global hedge fund who is seeking a talented Quantitative Developer to join their team in Zurich and play a pivotal role in developing the infrastructure and strategy for their new Options trading business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the infrastructure supporting the entire investment process.
• Build and maintain a data warehouse, including setting up an ETL process to extract data from both internal and external sources.
• Process and analyse large datasets.
• Create trading dashboards for use by the trading team.
• Automate trade execution and assist in the development of execution algorithms.

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related STEM field (Undergraduate, Master's, or PhD).
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in data scraping, data cleaning, and data visualisation.
• Proven ability to work with large datasets.
• Demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis.

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years in finance (strong candidates from the technology sector will also be considered).

Highly Valued Experience:

• Experience in developing algorithmic trading systems.
