Responsibilities

• Conception, development, maintenance, evolution, testing, and documentation of the next generation software solutions
• This software supports the business of major sporting events like the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, or World Cups
• Ensure the highest quality and reliability of the software produced
• Manage high-level specifications and best practices for the team
• Mentor and coach developers by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance their skills, and act as a technical leader within the team
• Additional responsibilities include ensuring engineering maturity and quality control
• Lead and promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, while creating a safe environment for developers to experiment with radical and high-risk changes

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a professional software developer
• Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent
• Resilient and able to operate in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment
• Structured, systematic, and organized in your work; able to prioritize according to deadlines
• Optimistic, motivating, and visionary; available for travel abroad

Professional Requirements

• Proven experience in developing web applications with .NET / C# backend deployed in Docker or AKS
• Knowledge of frontend technologies is a plus
• Experience with automated testing and deployments, along with a good understanding of Agile principles (XP, Scrum, Kanban)

Languages

• Strong communication skills in English are mandatory
