Our client is the asset management division of an international bank in Zurich. We are seeking a fund accountant/controller (m/f/d) to:

• Review net asset value (NAV) calculations, waterfalls, and financial packages
• Process and monitor all capital calls and distributions from target investments
• Monitor cash flows, capital calls, transactions, and review valuations
• Monitor financial performance and distributions to investors
• Review financial information, including financial statements for private equity funds
• Provide qualitative analysis and commentary
• Review reports generated by systems
• Serve as contact point for senior management and investors
• Resolve issues and ensure timely and accurate processing of queries
• Coordinate administration and documentation with legal department and audit procedures

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or ACCA certification is an advantage
• Solid work experience in a Big Four firm in fund audit, fund industry, or asset management in a bank
• Experience in fund accounting and knowledge of analytical methodology
• Experience with private market portfolios
• Understanding of complex financial instruments, valuation, and reporting concepts
• Experience working with external service providers
• Analytical personality with attention to detail and solution orientation
• High motivation, interest in innovation and new processes
• Strong coordination skills and passion for PE funds
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in German and English
