Job Description

You have experience in PCB design, FPGA programming, or RF systems? This opportunity is yours! In order to reinforce an already existing Hardware Team, we are hiring a Senior Digital Hardware Engineer Consultant. You will design highly reliable digital electronics that meet the required functional specifications on several long-term projects.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

  1. PCB Design and conception, component selection and procurement.
  2. Streamline Bill of Materials (BOM) costs.
  3. Whole development cycle of electronic boards.
  4. Conceive, validate, and implement robust analog and mixed-signal electronics.
  5. Partner with Radio frequency, mechanical, and software internal teams.

Permanent contract, based in Lausanne.

Profile / Requirements

Your Profile and Skills:

  1. PhD, MSc, or equivalent, in electronic engineering or a related field.
  2. At least 7/8 years of proven experience in hardware or electrical engineering.
  3. Digital electronics and multi-gigabit interfaces experience.
  4. Experience using various test equipment (oscilloscope, etc.).
  5. Schematic capture and PCB design tools.
  6. Previous experience with FPGA tools is appreciated (Quartus, Vivado, etc.).
  7. Nice-to-have: Good understanding of microcontrollers and PCB simulation tools.
