In this position you will…

...develop and execute mutually beneficial insurance, reinsurance carrier and capital markets partnerships that result in new financial protection and inclusion offerings for bolttech clients … and that’s just the beginning! Drive value for carrier partners by mining underwriting insight within bolttech. European auto – liability and damage - underwriting experience is critical. Additional focus on tech-enabled property, mobility, and experience products initially in the US and Europe. Tap into a growing number of B2C companies that want to get closer to their customers through embedding financial services.

You will be responsible for…

  • Understanding, and helping others see, how embedded insurance products and protection services can help achieve client’s business aspirations
  • Developing, structure, and deliver complex partnerships that drive mutual value … initially with personal lines property, motor (including warranty and F&I), personal cyber, and device protection space.
  • Owning bolttech carrier relationships across EU, UK, and Africa
  • Connecting with insurers and reinsurers to provide for embedded product solutions
  • Understanding the P/L implications from an insurance and reinsurance perspective
  • Creating new offerings using existing bolttech global capabilities, or partners.
  • Quantifying complex exposures of clients that are disrupting several industries.
  • Supporting bolttech growth goals, working closely with client success colleagues.
  • Taking full ownership of targets, nurture deals to completion.
  • Motivating and mentor team members, as we seek to solve together
  • Growing the bolttech brand by attending industry events and networking

You will require the following qualifications and skills

  • 8+ years of insurance brokerage as a carrier or reinsurance placement expert; commercial or personal lines experience in the EU
  • Understands and has ideally structured reinsurance, capital markets, and/or insurance linked securities-supported programs for large global clients.
