Our client is the asset management division of an international bank in Zurich. We are seeking a Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team.

Responsibilities

1. Handle internal and external compliance requests focusing on AML and KYC, including monitoring and updating legal documents, coordinating contract signings, and approvals.
2. Provide paralegal compliance support for ongoing investments and communicate with law firms, advisory firms, and investors.
3. Participate in fund lifecycle activities such as routine KYC reviews and administration of documents during changes in fund structure (splits, mergers, etc.).
4. Control and update legal documents to ensure AML/KYC compliance.
5. Process KYC requests for internal and external purposes.
6. Assist in optimizing department processes and tools.
7. Contribute to ad hoc compliance projects.

Qualifications

• HF, Bachelor's degree in Business Law, Banking & Finance, or Paralegal studies.
• Professional experience in compliance within a bank or fund management, focusing on VSB 20, KYC, AML, and Financial Crime.
• Knowledge of funds, hedge funds, or private equity funds.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Excellent written communication skills in German and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Discretion, trustworthiness, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
