We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead commercial development in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. In this key field-based role, you will execute the company's sales and marketing strategy, maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and expand the customer portfolio in your region.

Key Responsabilities :

Commercial Development & Client Relations

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline to meet regional objectives
  • Build trust and maintain long-term partnerships with existing clients
  • Acquire new customers to secure the annual sales budget
  • Monitor and manage order backlogs
  • Train resellers and retail staff on the technical value of our product lines

Marketing & Field Activities

  • Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and professional events
  • Ensure optimal merchandising and promotional material deployment at points of sale
  • Stay in contact with educational institutions in viticulture, arboriculture, and landscaping
  • Provide regular field feedback and market intelligence to the national sales team

Administrative & Strategic Support

  • Draft offers aligned with centrally defined pricing policies
  • Apply discretionary sampling and discounting strategies within defined limits
  • Uphold the company’s commitment to quality, environmental standards, and health & safety protocols

Your Profile :

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Area Sales Manager or equivalent role
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Training or background in commercial disciplines or relevant technical sectors (e.g., landscaping, arboriculture, or viticulture)

Languages & Location

  • Native-level Swiss German or German speaker
  • Fluent German (written and spoken), with at least B2 in both French and English
  • Ideally residing in or near Zurich

Skills & Tools

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Self-driven and able to work independently
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable using ERP (ProConcept), CRM systems, and Power BI
