Regional Fleet Logistics Safety Manager

The Regional Road Safety Manager has overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with safety regulations for all DCs in their relevant region and vehicles owned, leased, or contracted and operated under Coca Cola HBC’s trademark. They work with transportation and fleet teams to develop Coca Cola HBC safety strategies and improvement plans to achieve sustainable safety excellence by reducing injuries as measured by core KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement safety programs across all vehicles and PITs in the region.
2. Ensure adherence to Coca Cola HBC’s safety standards and guidelines, and communicate updates.
3. Implement Defensive Driving training, refresher programs, and in-cabin assessments as per the safety program.
4. Initiate and review risk assessments in relevant DCs, evaluate hazards, and plan and implement measures.
5. Coordinate training programs for drivers, employees, and third parties to maintain safety awareness.
6. Lead investigations of road safety incidents, identify root causes, and plan corrective actions.
7. Perform driver performance checks.
8. Manage vehicle systems in collaboration with the fleet team regarding maintenance and safety.
9. Monitor communication of road hazards with drivers.
10. Conduct compliance audits at DCs.
11. Collaborate with Engineering teams on safety regulations for new projects and modifications.
12. Provide safety reports and analyze trends.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 6-10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Effective team player with leadership skills.
• Strong observation and auditing skills.
• Experience in Supply Chain operations.
• FMCG experience is preferred.
