Job – SAP SCM (MM / PP-PI / QM) Consultant

eurpeople’s customer, a major pharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced SAP SCM (MM / PP-PI / QM) Consultant to join its ongoing project in Basel, Switzerland.

The ideal candidates will have between 5 to 8 years of hands-on, project-based SAP SCM experience, specifically in MM, PP-PI, and QM modules, acquired through actual project implementations. Proficiency in standard customizing, configuration, and the entire project lifecycle within SAP SCM is essential.

Experience with pharmaceutical industry processes will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Translate these into functional specifications using prototyping and fit-gap analysis.
2. Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain system functionalities; develop new features based on business needs.
3. Create system documentation, including functional and technical specifications, installation scripts, OQ/PQ protocols, test plans, and scripts.
4. Manage installation of new systems and updates, following SDLC and change management procedures.
5. Ensure validation, audit, and legal compliance throughout the system lifecycle.
6. Support the creation of SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
7. Provide expertise on incident, problem, and change management processes to IT teams.
8. Develop solutions, evaluate options, and collaborate with IT teams to optimize system performance.
9. Coordinate activities for small to medium changes, perform system administration, and provide 2nd/3rd level support.
10. Support system upgrades, including support packs and enhancement packs.
11. Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance user experience and business understanding.

The candidate must possess a valid passport allowing immediate travel to the project location.
