The Head of Global Marketing and Market Access is responsible for all aspects of marketing and market access for the Sandoz biopharmaceutical portfolio. Actively manages the in-market and late-stage development product portfolio in close collaboration and alignment with Global Medical Affairs, Development and Commercial Operations in the region, as well as with key external partners and stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring a robust, annual commercial brand planning process that is insight driven in collaboration with Global Medical Affairs.
  • Developing core marketing and access materials to be used by countries.
  • Leading the commercial launch readiness for all assets starting 3 years prior to launch.
  • Full ownership of product lifecycle management for in-line brands to maximize long term brand value and differentiation
  • Leading the long-term brand and portfolio strategy in close collaboration with partner functions.
  • Leading development of innovative marketing and market access capabilities.
  • Ensuring input into long-term demand plans in collaboration with operations and regions.
  • Chairs the Customer Execution committee and represents commercial on the Biopharma Leadership Team, Development Leadership Team and Bio BD&L Committee.
  • Providing inspirational leadership, motivation and communication to commercial teams.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (science and/or business or a similar field) required. Advanced degree (e.g. MD, PhD, PharmD, MBA) preferred.
  • Fluency in English – oral & written (second language desirable).
  • Broad understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, development, finance/economics.
  • 15+ years’ experience in Health Care industry with focus on commercial (marketing, sales, market access, operations).
  • Local country experience is a must, above country experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and proven track record of building high performing teams.
  • US market launch experience with strong knowledge of US payor and managed markets landscape is preferred.
  • Superior ability to communicate, collaborate effectively, lead and influence for desired outcomes through/across a global company.
  • Ability to prioritize and drive decision making through being results and impact oriented
  • Disruptive and innovative thinker.
