This Position reports to:

R&D Local Unit Lead

Your Role and Responsibilities

Act as lead engineer for the design and development of power converters, by defining and developing innovative power electronics solutions to fulfill customers requirements, within a multi-disciplinary team of electrical, mechanical, thermal and control experts.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

Work model: #LI-onsite

  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of innovative power converters, including simulation, validation, documentation, and testing of both hardware and software components.

  • Collaborate cross-functionallywith engineers and suppliers to define technical requirements, develop cooling systems, and ensure feasibility and integration of solutions.

  • Conduct hands-on testing and troubleshooting, build simulation models and prototypes, analyze performance data, and optimize designs for efficiency and reliability.

  • Drive technological innovationby staying updated on industry trends, proposing new methodologies, and contributing to the strategic direction of power electronics development.

Qualifications for the Role

  • MSc or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, specializing in Power Electronics and converter design

  • 5+ years of experiencein power electronics development, including simulation, prototyping, and testing

  • Proficient in power conversion topologiesand power semiconductor technologies (modules and discrete)

  • Skilled in simulation toolssuch as LTspice, PLECS, Simulink, Ansys, Maxwell, Icepak, and Fluent

  • Experienced with MATLAB, Python (NumPy), MathCAD, and PCB design tools like Altium Designer

  • Hands-on expertise in lab testing, using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other diagnostic equipment

  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills and a proactive, innovation-driven mindset
