Your role

As a Senior System Engineer, you will work for application development and maintenance with the biggest companies from the manufacturing sector (in particular in Aerospace) in France to develop, implement, and deploy new IT solutions.

Required

1. Break down the problem into segments and evaluate the available options for solving problems.
2. Seeks to understand customer needs, builds credibility by providing relevant inputs, integrates client feedback, and delivers as per commitments.
3. Proficient in English language, structures thoughts clearly, listens attentively, questions to gain clarity, and confidently shares viewpoints.
4. Knowledge of one programming language/DB/package, to perform, optimize & troubleshoot technical tasks.
5. Basic analysis, solution evaluation methods & process mapping tools to identify problems and map processes in simple client scenarios.

Expertise

1. Experience in L2 Application Support role preferably from Finance or Banking Industry.
2. Technically proficient in Unix/Linux, Oracle PLSQL, Shell Scripting, Autosys, Batch Monitoring, Automation Tools.
3. Familiarity with ITIL processes (Certification preferred).
4. Experience in Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Release Management.
5. Perform the full spectrum of Production Support responsibilities, based on the ITIL Framework.
6. Should have very strong communication skills (written & verbal).

Must Have:

• Unix, Oracle, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, ITIL.

Preferred

Good to Have: To adapt the working environment and increase efficiency using the tools for automations/improvements:

• SRE – Site Reliability Engineer.
• Splunk, AppDynamics.
• Azure Cloud, DevOps, Agile.
• Technologies: Java, Informatica etc.
