This Position reports to:

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

You will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

- Work model: hybrid {#LI Hybrid}

We are looking for a thesis student to design and develop web applications that efficiently generate and archive technical reports for our customers and suppliers. The thesis tasks include:

  • Developing a web application for both front-end design and back-end functionality

  • Planning activities, delivering solutions, and ensuring adherence to deadlines

  • Conduct testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards

Qualifications for the Role

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent and you have fulfilled prerequisites for starting your Bachelor's or Master’s thesis at your university

  • You possess an enhanced knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Python, PHP, Java, C# and SQL

  • You are at ease communicating in English

  • Non-EU/non-EFTA citizens, please note that official enrollment in a Swiss university is essential
