About Our Clinic

Our Basel Veterinary Clinic in Münchenstein is an emergency and referral clinic in northwestern Switzerland, equipped with advanced diagnostics and a comprehensive range of medical services. We handle challenging and interesting cases daily. Our modern diagnostic facilities include CT, endoscopy (laparoscopy, arthroscopy, bronchoscopy), multiple ultrasound machines, a modern laboratory, and an ambulance for emergencies. The clinic is staffed by passionate specialists (Diplomates) across various fields, with a highly developed surgical department. We prioritize education and training for our staff.

Position: Veterinary Nurse

For our 24-hour veterinary clinic in Münchenstein, we are seeking motivated vet nurses to join our emergency, internal medicine, and neurology teams.

Your Tasks

Are you interested in specializing in Emergency, Internal Medicine, or Neurology? You will leverage your knowledge, experience, and personality in a dynamic and engaging environment. Your support is vital during consultations and in pre-, intra-, and post-operative care. You enjoy working within a young, motivated team that supports each other. At the reception and on the phone, you create a welcoming atmosphere and make a positive first impression. Your passion for animal care and professionalism are essential as you provide competent information to pet owners and compassionate care to our patients.

Your Profile

• Completed training as a vet nurse or vet technician
• Work experience is desirable but not mandatory
• German language skills are an advantage
• Self-confident, friendly, and customer-oriented
• Hands-on approach with the ability to stay calm and organized in hectic situations
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a sense of responsibility
• Flexible, enthusiastic, and responsible
