Mandated by one of our clients, we are looking for a :
Requested Profile :
Bachelor or Master's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Proven experience in a manufacturing management role
Strong knowledge of manufacturing / project management processes, methodologies, and standards
Project management and highly methodological approach (Project Management certification is an asset)
Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Familiarity with industry-specific regulatory standards and requirements is an asset
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, direct and indirect reports
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capacity to build organizational relationships
Strong proactive problem-solving approach
Deep knowledge of Process Improvement tools and methodologies (JIT, DMAIC)
Knowledge of Microsoft Project and SAP is a strong asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Access, Word, Visio, PowerPoint)
Very good command of French and English (spoken and written)

Main Responsibilities :
Ensure project execution occurs smoothly within the process flow, without disruptions
Ensure proper material allocation to the right project phase, in the right quantity and timing, maintaining quality standards
Ensure material allocation aligns with Streamline flow (SLA), avoiding stock accumulation (JIT)
Conduct technical evaluations for make/buy decisions
Maintain regular interaction and alignment with main stakeholders
Develop and implement efficient manufacturing methods to optimize project processes and minimize waste
Support project execution proactively through Implementing Simultaneous Engineering
Hire, train, and supervise the Manufacturing Methodology team (8-10 members)
Assess team performance and provide feedback and development opportunities
Foster a positive and productive work environment
Provide training and support on new processes and improvement opportunities
Collaborate with Project Managers and Mechanical Engineers for project follow-up and support
Offer proactive support during urgent situations to prevent delays
Ensure all processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and standards (ESG)
