Job Description :

You have experience in PCB design, FPGA programming, or RF systems? This opportunity is yours! To reinforce an existing Hardware Team, we are hiring a Senior Digital Hardware Engineer Consultant. You will design highly reliable digital electronics that meet the required functional specifications on several long-term projects.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  1. PCB Design and conception, component selection and procurement, PCB design
  2. Streamline Bill of Materials (BOM) costs
  3. Whole development cycle of electronic boards
  4. Conceive, validate, and implement robust analog and mixed-signal electronics
  5. Partner with RF, mechanical, and software teams internally

This is a permanent contract, based in Lausanne. The team communicates in full English.

Required qualifications :

Your Profile and Skills :

  • PhD, MSc, or equivalent in electronic engineering or a related field
  • At least 7-8 years of proven experience in hardware or electrical engineering
  • Experience with digital electronics and multi-gigabit interfaces
  • Experience using various test equipment (oscilloscopes, etc.)
  • Schematic capture and PCB design tools proficiency
  • Previous experience with FPGA tools (Quartus, Vivado, etc.) is appreciated
  • Nice-to-have: Good understanding of microcontrollers and PCB simulation tools
