We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team at Eidgenössische Steuerverwaltung ESTV, based in Bern with a 80-100% workload.

Key Responsibilities

• Review subjective tax liability of companies and individuals from French-speaking regions
• Control VAT accounting, make tax adjustments, and determine tax amounts based on proper discretion
• Handle and approve various requests regarding accounting methods and procedures
• Provide written and telephone information on all tax-related questions
• Conduct targeted VAT audits
• Collaborate within work and specialist groups

What Makes You Unique

• Commercial education or equivalent qualification
• Knowledge of VAT or willingness to learn; we offer comprehensive internal training and opportunities for further education in finance or tax
• Analytical thinking, quick comprehension, flexibility, solution-oriented approach, and negotiation skills
• Independent, precise, and efficient working style; ability to handle fluctuating workload and be a team player
• Knowledge of a second official language

In a Nutshell

You will independently manage taxpayers from registration to deregistration, ensuring the correct collection of VAT. You enjoy agile work, are open to change, and familiar with the concept of Work 4.0.
