Senior Software/Data Engineer - Zurich Size & Fit Engineering (all genders)

THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

Finding clothes that fit is a challenging topic in the e-commerce fashion industry. As a Software Engineer in the Size and Fit Team, you will be part of a core team developing products and production infrastructure to provide customers with the best size and fit experience thanks to data-driven recommendations.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• You have 5-7 years of experience in professional software engineering.

• You are a self-driven engineer who shares passion for helping customers find the right fit.

• You understand the properties of large scale distributed systems and have a proven track record in building and delivering mission-critical, 24x7 production software systems.

• You have proficiency in writing production applications using Python, with additional experience in Java or Go being a plus.

• You are familiar with large-scale distributed data processing tools such as Spark, Flink, or Databricks.

• You have experience with infrastructure to serve ML models in production environments.

• You have knowledge of AWS (or similar cloud platforms), containerization technologies like Docker, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.

• You have a passion for writing clean, maintainable, and simple code.

• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to discuss technical architecture and designs with other senior and principal engineers.
