Responsibilities

1. Create and align regulatory strategies with business goals, identify regulatory pathways, and prepare strategies for submissions to authorities.
2. Conduct regulatory intelligence by staying updated on relevant regulatory trends, changes, and updates. Monitor modifications, assess their impact, and revise standards accordingly.
3. Set company-wide standards, ensure documentation accuracy, provide regulatory guidance, and support global implementation through training.
4. Organize data using Power BI and other tools, monitor conformity rates, share findings, and evaluate impacts. Implement risk management strategies to ensure product safety and effectiveness.
5. Author and validate Safety Data Sheets, proofreading and troubleshooting as needed.
6. Engage with stakeholders to implement technical enhancements, perform impact assessments, run user acceptance testing, and execute mass updates.
7. Collaborate within cross-functional teams on value chain resilience projects, coordinate with purchasing and sales departments to ensure compliance and market access, and facilitate communication.
8. Work with R&D teams to develop innovative products ensuring regulatory compliance for security features in banknotes and product markers.

Profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in regulatory affairs, product safety, or product development in the chemical industry.
• Fluency in English; French minimum B2 level.
• Extensive knowledge of EU (REACH, CLP) and Swiss (OChim) regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills, including experience with Power BI and Compliance Engines like Sphera CE integrated with SAP EHS.
• Ability to take ownership, communicate effectively, and pay high attention to detail.
• Adaptability to a dynamic environment and regulatory changes.
