Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary: CHF120000 - CHF160000 per annum + depending on seniority

Work model: possibility to work 2 days / week remotely

Mandatory requirements: Fluency in German (mandatory) and valid EU/EFTA citizenship

Our client, a growing Fintech company, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to become the first hire in a newly built team with the possibility to influence future hires and give strategic direction.

About the role:

As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and building the company's DevOps capabilities from the ground up. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will:

• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for a secure, scalable infrastructure
• Develop containerisation solutions using Kubernetes in an on-premises Red Hat OpenShift environment
• Collaborate closely with the security and engineering teams to ensure compliance and system reliability
• Influence future hires and the strategic direction of this growing team

Key requirements:

• Proficiency in Linux systems and containerisation technologies, particularly Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift or similar on-premises environments
• A strong understanding of DevOps principles, automation and pipeline creation
