Welcome to DEKRA Arbeit. For a client of ours, we are currently looking for a Cyber Security Manager in Zürich.

Your Role:

1. You will lead and enhance the organization’s cyber security strategy, policies, and frameworks.
2. Oversee risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability management to ensure robust protection of systems and data.
3. Coordinate incident response planning and lead the response to security breaches and threats.
4. Collaborate with IT and business leaders to embed security best practices across projects and operations.
5. Manage security awareness programs to educate employees and foster a security-first culture.
6. Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and other relevant standards.
7. Report regularly to senior management on risk posture, compliance status, and ongoing improvements.

Your Profile:

1. A degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field, with 7+ years of experience in IT security roles, including leadership responsibilities.
2. Deep knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, OWASP).
3. Proven experience with security operations, incident response, and risk management.
4. Familiarity with SIEM solutions, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
5. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
6. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
7. Fluency in English and German.
