The Diabetes Center Berne (DCB) is a private, independent Swiss foundation dedicated to making life with diabetes easier. DCB supports innovative ideas and projects in the field of diabetes technology worldwide by offering expertise, access to clinical research facilities, and its own state-of-the-art laboratories. As a non-profit organization, DCB is driven by a commitment to generate new insights and innovations in diabetes management and to foster a vibrant community.

Aufgaben

  1. Independently coordinate and manage clinical research projects in the field of diabetes and diabetes technology
  2. Ensure compliance with ethics committees, Swissmedic, and international regulatory standards (ICH-GCP)
  3. Oversee study protocols, ethics submissions, patient recruitment, data management, and monitoring
  4. Liaise with investigators, study sites, regulatory authorities, and sponsors
  5. Support the development of study documentation, case report forms (CRFs), and final reports
  6. Write, review, and approve study data analysis documents using DCB or client SOPs. Collaborate with clinical project managers and other data team members

Qualifikation

  1. Higher degree (Bachelor/Master) in life sciences, nursing, or related field
  2. Proven experience (5+ years) in managing clinical studies, ideally in MedTech or diabetes
  3. Deep knowledge of the Swiss research and regulatory landscape, including Swiss Ethics committees, Swissmedic, and GCP
  4. Excellent knowledge of clinical trials from first-in-human through post-marketing
  5. Proactive, hands-on attitude with the ability to work independently and drive projects forward
  6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  7. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  8. Workplace in Bern, with the possibility of home office (up to two days)
