Chief Financial Officer In A Start-Up

Responsibilities:

• Implement the financial strategy in alignment with company goals, including participation in funding rounds.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and the tracking of key financial performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage accounting operations, payroll, and other administrative tasks while continuously improving financial and controlling processes.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure liquidity at all times, including analytical accounting to maintain the profitability of the business.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely annual financial statements, and compliance with Swiss tax and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax and legal advisors, and regulators to ensure compliance and strong external partnerships.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors and shareholders.

What you bring :

• Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (e.g., HEG, HEC, Swiss federal diploma).
• Several years of experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a fast-growing company, an SME, or a fiduciary.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset, with the ability to align financial planning with business objectives.
• Proficiency in French and English; German is a plus.
• High adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment. Excellent communication skills.
