Finance Lead

We are partnering with an innovative biotech company in Basel that’s entering Phase II stage. To support their next phase of growth, they are seeking a Finance Lead — a hands-on, ambitious finance professional ready to step into a strategic leadership role.

Your Role:

• Take full ownership of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Lead financial reporting in compliance with IFRS
• Prepare fundraising materials and support due diligence for upcoming financing rounds
• Manage relationships with external accountants and auditors (outsourced setup)
• Build and improve internal finance processes and performance metrics
• Support on M&A, licensing, and strategic financial modeling

Your Profile:

• 5–8 years’ experience in finance leadership or audit (e.g. Big4, biotech, or scale-up environment)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; Swiss accounting principles are a plus
• Finance certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CFA, or Swiss Certified Finance & Controlling)
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership, and excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English and German.
