Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary: Up to CHF 150,000 per year

Role Overview:

Optimus Search has partnered with a leading software development company based in Zürich. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the company's Kubernetes (K8s) cluster, improving local development processes, and managing cloud resources.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, understand, and develop solutions for complex problems.
• Design and implement maintainable software solutions, processes, and systems supporting applications.
• Lead code reviews, guide team members, and ensure code quality and consistency.
• Construct and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

• A master's degree (ETH, Uni) in computer science, physics, or mathematics.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development using object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C#, C++, Java, Python), and experience with F#, Haskell, Scala.
• Strong understanding of virtualization and networking.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Terraform, and GCP.
• Solid grasp of software development principles and commitment to writing clean code.
• Specialized knowledge in relevant fields or technologies (e.g., programming languages, operating systems, databases, security, Kubernetes).
