For our innovative Adobe Experience Manager enterprise solution driving a billion-dollar revenue, Adobe is seeking a highly organized and technically savvy SRE Program Manager to drive reliability initiatives across the engineering organization. In this role, you will partner with Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), software engineering teams, and product stakeholders to deliver programs that improve system reliability, scalability, performance and cost and value efficiency. You’ll own the planning, execution, and governance of SRE-focused projects such observability optimisations, SLO/SLI/SLA tracking, chaos engineering, operational readiness, cost and value measurement. We're seeking candidates with a holistic view of team’s priorities and ongoing deliverables to ensure efficient management and organisation. We are looking for people who are self-starters and who can drive results and outcomes, with strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
What you will do
Leadership: Ensuring clear communication, teamwork, and adherence to goals. Empower and inspire teams to meet milestones.
Program Management
Lead end-to-end execution of SRE initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical strategies.
Define project scopes, timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
Manage cross-functional programs involving SREs, DevOps, security, infrastructure, and product engineering.
Reliability Advocacy
Champion SRE principles such as automation, blameless postmortems , and reliability as a feature.
Drive adoption of best practices in observability, incident response, and SLO/SLI/SLA
Incident & Problem Management
Coordinate the post-incident actions and improvements across teams.
Monitor incident trends and help prioritize systemic fixes to reduce recurrence.
Communication:
Maintain open and effective communication with stakeholders, including senior management, engineering teams, and external partners or customers.
Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders through dashboards, reports, and briefings.
Translate technical work into business impacts and communicate progress and trade-offs.
Tooling & Process Optimization
Partner with SRE teams to assess and improve tooling related to monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and reliability metrics.
Help establish governance and standards for operational readiness reviews, SLIs/SLOs, and capacity and reliability items planning.
SaaS Cost Efficiency & Management : Manage and track product cost efficiency across teams . Ensure that most efficient use of cost within the constraints to ensure value.
Value : Establish and uphold rigorous standards to ensure value to Adobe and our customers by holding engineering teams accountable to meet or exceed performance.
Innovation Identify and drive opportunities to improve the team and process to ensure a high level of value, productivity, quality and reliability . While k eep ing pace with the evolving technology trends and standard methodologies in software development and operations to take advantage of the industry trends and translate them into Adobe's standard methodologies
What you need to succeed
Highly motivated for operations and processes improvement
Strong engineering background
Deep understanding of both software engineering and technical operations.
Understands customer perspectives and value drivers.
Able to work across functional teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to comminate across the organisation from senior management to engineers
Proficiency in English
Familiar with a variety of the cloud software and organisational software
Strong organization skills
