The Head of Group Controlling & Reporting leads all facets of group-wide financial planning, consolidation, reporting, and compliance. As a key member of the finance leadership team, this role provides strategic financial insights to the executive team and Board, ensures the effectiveness of internal controls, and continuously enhances controlling and reporting processes, systems, and tools. The role also plays a critical part in supporting governance, risk management, and compliance activities in close collaboration with other finance functions.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Lead the group-wide financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  2. Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting and consolidation of actuals, budgets, and forecasts, including reporting to Group Management and Board.
  3. Ensure adherence to Swiss GAAP FER and other applicable financial standards.
  4. Manage and further develop controlling and reporting processes, systems, and tools.
  5. Oversee FP&A activities supporting strategic and operational decisions, including performance variance analyses and scenario planning.
  6. Provide financial support and controlling for R&D and G&A functions (HR, IT, Legal, Finance, etc.).
  7. Ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and risk management at the group level.
  8. Act as the Center of Excellence (CoE) for global finance processes and tools.
  9. Support country finance teams in alignment and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the group.
  10. Collaborate closely with Regions and Operations controlling to ensure cohesive financial governance.
  11. Drive finance competence development across the organization.

Your Profile

  1. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA / CMA or MBA preferred.
  2. 8+ years of progressive experience in group controlling, corporate FP&A, big-four auditing firm or similar.
  3. Strong knowledge with international group controlling, reporting and consolidation tools.
  4. Strong knowledge in internal controls, risk management and governance frameworks.
  5. Solid understanding of Swiss GAAP FER and international reporting standards.
  6. Experience in M&A and Private Equity is advantageous.
  7. Proven leadership skills and experience in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  8. Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  9. Fluent in English; German is a strong asset.
