Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer mfd

We are seeking a Senior FullStack Software Engineer (m / f / d) to join our talented team. Your work will play a crucial role in building RobCo into Europe's leading company for automation solutions in the SMB sector.

With over $50 million in funding from renowned VCs such as Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed, as well as the founders of UiPath and Helsing Pitch, we are well-positioned to bring our vision to life.

In this role, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying software that powers our robotic systems. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, control system experts, and product managers to build robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.

Your experience in developing and shipping software in the robotics industry will be instrumental in driving the success of our product.

Responsibilities :

1. Full Stack Development :

Design, develop, and maintain web and application interfaces for our robotics systems.

Build scalable backend architectures supporting many clients.

1. Embedded and Robotics Software Development :

Develop and integrate software components for real-time control, navigation, and sensor processing.

Collaborate with the hardware team to ensure tight integration between software and hardware components.

1. End-to-End Software Delivery :

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing, including unit, integration, and system-level tests.

1. Collaboration and Leadership :

Mentor junior developers, share technical expertise, and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Work with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Your Profile

1. Education & Experience :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on robotics and hardware systems.

1. Technical Skills :

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C.

Experience with frontend frameworks, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.

Familiarity with robotics frameworks like ROS (Robot Operating System).

Proficient with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and containerization tools like Docker.

Proficient with UNIX-based systems and command-line tools.

Ability to write and execute comprehensive frontend and backend tests.

1. Domain Knowledge :

Experience working with robotics hardware, sensors, and actuators.

Knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, or control algorithms is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
