Co-Founder CTO (Berlin / Hybrid) - Build the Future of AI-Driven Financial Ops

I'm supporting the Founder of a fast-moving, early‑stage tech company in Berlin who has built something genuinely exciting - and is now looking for the right technical co‑founder to take it from "working product with paying customers" to a category‑defining platform.

  • the hiring strategy
  • AI/ML integration choices

The Person We’re Looking For

You should be someone who:

  • Has deep Computer Science fundamentals
  • Has built and scaled systems as a CTO, Tech Founder, or early engineering leader
  • Isn’t afraid to be hands‑on in the early months
  • Loves moving quickly and keeping things lean
  • Enjoys speaking with customers and shaping product direction
  • Has a strong "bias for action" and thrives in ambiguity
  • Wants to build a small, exceptional engineering team
  • Feels energised by early‑stage ownership, not overwhelmed by it

Bonus: some German language capability (or willingness to learn), given a portion of the customer base operates within German financial/legal frameworks.
