Senior Electrical System Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Electrical System Engineer to provide expert guidance and support in challenging customer projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Analysis and refinement of technical customer requirements as well as development of system requirements and solution concepts in direct coordination with the customer.
• Development of system and product designs, taking into account thermal, EMC, and mechanical requirements, as well as cost-efficient manufacturing aspects.
• Collaboration with internal and external development partners (e.g., industrial engineering, design, mechanical engineering).
• Management and coordination of development projects in line with defined processes.
• Preparation of technical documentation in accordance with quality-relevant standards.
• Technical responsibility for deviations in quality, complaints, or supplier-related issues.
• Active support in the selection and practical integration of electrical components.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (MSc. ETH/FH or equivalent).
• Several years of experience in managing and executing technical development projects within an industrial electronics context.
• In-depth knowledge of PLM, CAE, and simulation tools.
• Expertise in embedded systems, bus systems (CPCI-S, VPX, COM Express), and system integration. Knowledge of cybersecurity is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, initiative, and a sense of responsibility with leadership competency.
• Fluency in German and English.
