Lead Quant/Data Analyst

Front Office | Commodities Trading

Our client, a leading player in the commodities trading space, is looking to hire a Quant or Data Analyst to work directly with traders — shaping tools, insights, and tech solutions that enhance desk performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Partnering with traders to understand workflows and deliver effective, tech-enabled solutions
• Developing and improving tools using Python for data manipulation, analysis, and decision support
• Leading data gathering and transformation efforts, preferably within a Triple Point environment
• Exploring applications of AI and quantitative methods (initial stages)
• Supporting front-office innovation with a practical, delivery-focused approach

Qualifications:

• Experience in a quantitative, data, or front-office IT role within the industry
• Strong understanding of commodities trading and front-office processes
• Excellent communication skills to translate trader needs into solutions
• Experience working directly with trading desks
• Familiarity with Triple Point or other ETRM systems is advantageous
• Willingness to relocate to Geneva
