Overview
For a client in the rail transport industry, we are looking for an experienced security system engineer.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operation and maintenance of existing global network security solutions
- Monitoring and analysis of security events
- Implementation of hardware and software changes to firewall systems as part of change management
- Collaboration on exciting projects
- Further development of existing architectures and security concepts based on requirements and existing “best practices”
- Processing of various 3rd level support requests and assistance from our on-call team
Qualifications:
- Completed computer science education or several years of professional experience in the IT security environment
- Professional experience with firewall systems in local networks or similar
- Good technical know-how in several of the following areas: Network Security, Microsoft Windows, firewall infrastructures and AV solutions
- Fluent in German and English
- Good communication skills and self-organization
- Willingness to travel
