What You’ll Do
This role will serve as an experienced individual contributor and be assigned to a designated product. This role will partner closely with the team Engineering Lead to implement standards and best practices and work closely with team members to support the development of a cohesive user experience across web and mobile platforms.
Primary Expectations
- Experience working in agile software development on a cross-functional team
- Able to navigate ambiguous requirements and environments to support delivery
- Support the development and communication of milestones and delivers upon their area of expertise
- Actively participate in conversations and planning sessions with team members and stakeholders
- Willingness to partner with senior practitioners, and be receptive to mentorship
- Able to identify risks and communicate to leadership, provides recommendations to mitigate identified risks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills directed at both technical and non-technical audiences as well as stakeholder engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of engineering experience, demonstrating in-depth knowledge in at least one backend technology stack
- At least 1 year of experience working with Ruby on Rails
- Demonstrate desire to learn new technologies and ability to adjust to work on any part of the stack
- Public Trust Clearance
