In this frame, the company is currently seeking a dynamic Senior Project Planning Engineer to join its Planning and Cost control team and work with a passionate, detail-oriented, and international team on developing and maintaining our projects.
Main Responsibilities:
Corporate/Staff Main Tasks:
- Work closely with the Planning & Cost Control Section Manager in the continuous improvement process by identifying and proposing any suggestions on increasing work efficiency.
- Provide Project Third party control on project at completion forecasts.
Project Main Tasks:
- Produce Project dedicated Project Control Procedures.
- Manage and coordinate the Project Planning & Reporting Team (Casale, Casale Project, subcontractor), if present, ensuring that the activities are carried out efficiently and according to the best practices.
- Preparation of detailed project schedule and resource time-distributed budgets, according to the requirement set forth in the internal and project dedicated procedures.
- Set-up all tools and reports required to achieve the job purpose.
- Monitor on regular basis the project progress and update the project schedule.
- Provide analysis of the critical activities and schedule deviation/slippage, including proposal and preparation of dedicated recovery plans, when required.
- Draw up project control internal and external reports and presentations.
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical or industrial engineering preferred).
Languages:
Fluent written and spoken English.
Skills:
- Good practical experience in using the following software:
- Primavera P6 EPPM
- Microsoft Project
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- SAP
- Good team-player.
- Ability to build relationships.
- Self-motivated with strong organization skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years work experience as Planner or Project Control Engineer in an EPC company operating in chemical, petrochemical or oil & gas sector.
