About the role

We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to take full ownership of the technical vision and development of the platform. You will start by continuing the development of the current MVP , then lead the architecture and implementation of a scalable platform designed for real-time content and high user volumes. You will work closely with a dynamic and young founding team and, when appropriate, help hire and manage a technical team.

Key Responsabilities

• Improve our current MVP
• Design and build the backend architecture, APIs, databases, and infrastructure
• Set up and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure
• Ensure performance, reliability, and data security at all levels
• Collaborate with the founders to prioritize product and tech decisions
• Prepare for team growth and potential hiring of engineers

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering , or equivalent
• Prior experience building and shipping apps preferred
• Strong backend developmen t skills (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar)
• Proficient in REST and GraphQL API design; SQL / NoSQL database architecture; Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP); DevOps, CI / CD, security, and authentication best practices; Familiarity with integrating AI / ML tools (e.g., OpenAI APIs, vector search);
• Fast, structured, autonomous approach to product development
• Fluent in English ; French or German is a plus
• Must be based in Switzerland or willing to relocate
• Legally authorized to work in Switzerland preferred
• Regular presence in our Zurich office is required

Compensation

• Equity + salary (currently fundraising)
