Job Description:
We are seeking an Oracle Developer with expertise in Java and Market Data for a Basel-based client in the Financial Services sector.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading efforts to ensure business-critical Static and Reference Data applications exceed service expectations.
- Driving the enhancement of business applications and processes.
- Contributing to high-impact projects, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and budgets are met.
- Coordinating and assisting with user acceptance testing for Reference and Market Data projects.
- Analyzing and designing business processes around the reference and market data product.
Your experience and knowledge:
- Strong Oracle and Java technical expertise supporting business applications in a banking environment.
- Experience with Banking / Financial Services Market Data is essential.
- Excellent technical knowledge of Linux and PowerShell, with know-how of Market Data.
- Proven track record of contributing to large, business-critical projects.
- Hands-on experience with source control management, automated testing, and deployment.
- Solid understanding of financial instruments and data management; GoldenSource expertise is highly beneficial.
- Language skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
