Director of Manufacturing Science & Technology – Biotherapeutics

We are working with a global pharmaceutical company at the forefront of monoclonal antibody innovation. Their biotherapeutics MSAT team plays a critical role across the product lifecycle—from development through commercialization—ensuring robust manufacturing processes and continuous optimization across global networks.
They are now hiring a Director – MSAT Biotherapeutics Drug Product, to lead global value optimization (VO) initiatives within the Large Molecule Drug Product Platform. This is a rare opportunity to set technical direction at a strategic level, driving harmonization, innovation, and performance excellence across multiple sites and cross-functional teams.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead a global team of Technical Owners and MSAT leaders, overseeing lifecycle management, tech transfers, process performance, and investigations.
- Define platform strategy, manage resource allocation, and lead business planning for both internal and external manufacturing sites.
- Identify, prioritize, and implement process optimization and technology innovation projects across the platform.
- Serve as the technical voice and change champion, aligning with stakeholders across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, and Value Chain Management.
- Mentor and coach talent, fostering an empowering culture that promotes excellence, agility, and collaboration.
What We’re Looking For
- 12–15+ years in manufacturing sciences, process development, or related areas (or 10–12+ with an advanced degree).
- Deep expertise in biochemical drug product manufacturing and lifecycle management.
- Proven experience in strategic leadership, matrix management, and driving cross-functional execution.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to connect technical strategy to value creation.
- Hands-on understanding of GMP, E2E supply chain, and regulatory/quality frameworks.
- Experience managing teams and fostering high-performing environments across geographies.
