Responsibilities
- Develop an AI-supported solution (chatbot) for the Defence Group (around 9,000 employees) that reliably answers practical questions from the HR department based on the applicable legal principles
- Prepare data from various HR areas, structure relevant knowledge sources and make them usable for the model
- Select suitable models, architectures and tools, implement them as prototypes and evaluate their performance
- Analyze user needs, test solution ideas and incorporate findings into iterative further development
- Create conceptual and technical decision-making bases to provide stakeholders with a basis for decision-making
Qualifications
- University degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science or a related field
- Several years of experience in the design and implementation of AI or data-based applications as well as in digital project management
- Experience in the design and implementation of LLMs or other dialogue-based assistance systems and relevant AI methods
- Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational and disciplinary boundaries, to integrate different perspectives and to develop solutions together
- Strong communication skills to prepare complex technical content in a way that is appropriate for the target audience and accessible to non-technical audiences and decision-makers
- Very good knowledge of at least one Swiss official language and preferably passive knowledge of a second Swiss official language
