Role Overview

This is a critical role leading the SCM Central Planning for Visp. The scope includes Small Molecules and legacy Biologics. The role is responsible for ensuring strong SCM support to projects within scope, leading MPL team coordination with project teams, and planning across business platforms. It also involves SCM of Buffer for the Visp site, excluding external buffer asset manufacturing outside Module P.

What you’ll do:

  1. Design, build, and lead a Supply Chain Central Planning Organization for Visp.
  2. Ensure collaboration with all functions involved in projects across different business platforms for supply chain relevant areas.
  3. Work closely with the Visp SCM Head of Material Management and other functions impacting material management to drive supply chain reliability, responsiveness, agility, and cost performance.
  4. Be accountable for all site cross-platform SCM planning to secure business continuity and performance, including warehouse capacity management, network planning, and support functions like QC Raw Materials.
  5. Collaborate with the Visp SCM Strategy and Transformation team to support process and technology implementation impacting SC Planning.
  6. Partner with the Visp SCM Head of Operational Excellence to drive initiatives improving supply chain reliability, responsiveness, agility, and cost.

What we’re looking for (up to 7 key qualifications):

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with extensive experience in end-to-end Supply Chain; APICS CPIM certification is a plus.
  2. Strong SAP experience, including financial, scheduling, and materials planning; Planview experience is an additional benefit.
  3. Proven leadership skills, capable of empowering and developing teams in both hierarchical and matrix structures.
  4. Demonstrates courage and integrity in difficult conversations, fostering transparency, growth, and collaboration.
  5. Ability to build a collaborative, inclusive environment and develop strong relationships across functions.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely.
  7. Change leadership skills.
  8. Proficiency in English (mandatory) and German (preferred), spoken and written.
