Within Allseas, the Business Finance department bridges the gap between financial expertise and operational execution. We collaborate with various functions—such as Operations, Commercial, Innovations, Projects, Information Technologies, Human Resources—to translate strategies into financial plans, manage budgets, support business cases, and provide data analytics and insights for decision-making, along with end-to-end process improvements.

Are you able to combine assertiveness, pioneering spirit, and curiosity? We are seeking a Finance Business Partner for Overheads at our head office in Châtel-Saint-Denis, Switzerland.

Your role

As a vital part of the Business Finance department—comprising 12 finance-business experts in an inclusive and collaborative environment—you will report to the Manager of Finance Business Partnering. Your main focus will be on business partnering with Overheads budget owners, including Vice Presidents across functions. You will support Allseas in achieving its objectives and making strategic decisions that positively impact our people, projects, processes, and financial results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading financial cycles (budget, forecast, actuals) in close collaboration with Overheads budget owners.
  • Providing actionable insights through data analytics and business cases to support strategic decisions.
  • Challenging the status quo, identifying cost and cash efficiency opportunities, and leading implementation initiatives.
  • Collaborating with HR on workforce planning, headcount analysis, and organizational design.
  • Developing integrated, value-added reporting for management in collaboration with other Finance Business Partners.
  • Safeguarding data integrity and ensuring compliance with financial standards and policies.
  • Enhancing end-to-end processes related to overhead cost management and partnering with the ERP project team for implementation.

What we expect from you

You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach. Comfortable with complexity, you balance analytical skills with strong interpersonal abilities. You are not just a numbers person—you are a business partner who drives results.

You have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Controlling or Finance Business Partnering within an international environment.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Power BI; familiarity with programming languages is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Swiss or Dutch is preferred.
  • Flexibility for occasional short business trips.
