About The Role

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to lead the acquisition of new clients and high-value business opportunities. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a key role in driving WellD’s growth strategy and shaping the future of our commercial operations in Switzerland.

This is a high-impact, strategic role with the opportunity to eventually establish and lead our Sales function in Switzerland. You will focus on acquiring new clients, with the management of existing client relationships remaining outside your scope.

Where you’ll work

This position is based in Ticino, Switzerland, with required office presence in Agno (Lugano) and flexibility to travel across the region for client meetings.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the acquisition of new clients and business opportunities in Ticino and across Switzerland.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, turning opportunities into lasting partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to define and implement strategic commercial objectives.
  • Evaluate and monitor sales performance, proposing initiatives to continuously optimize the business pipeline.
  • Represent WellD at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
  • Contribute to the preparation and support of RFPs, tenders, and competitive bids.
  • Shape the future of the Sales function in Switzerland, bringing structure, vision, and ideas to the table.
  • Independently manage complex negotiations, high-level presentations, and proposals.

What We're Looking For

Must-have skills & experience

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, ideally as a Key Account Manager, with part of this experience gained in Switzerland.
  • Proven experience in an IT consultancy company.
  • Deep knowledge of the Ticino market; experience across Switzerland is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with decision-makers.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; German or French is a plus.
  • Highly autonomous, result-oriented, and comfortable working in a flexible, unstructured environment.
  • Own transportation and willingness to travel for client meetings.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience creating or leading a sales function.
