CONTEXT

As part of the new Group Product Office, the Change & Adoption department aims at bringing change management and UX/UI strategy and expertise for all Richemont Products/Areas.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Head of UX/UI will be responsible for defining and implementing the user experience and user interface strategy for Richemont's products. This role will ensure that all digital solutions provide personalized and seamless experiences for users/clients across all touchpoints. The Head of UX/UI will work closely with the different Product teams to drive the adoption of new digital solutions and promote best practices.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Develop and execute a comprehensive UX/UI strategy aligned with the Richemont's & Maison’s value & overall business objectives

Establish a design system including framework for the Richemont Group Applications to improve product quality and consistency cross channels, fasten product delivery, and increase user adoption

Accountable for guaranteeing a seamless and consistent user experience and interface design across all platforms and channels

Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and ensure a user and data-centric approach

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with product teams to integrate UX/UI design into the development process

Collaborate with Maisons, Regions, and Functions to understand their specific needs and ensure alignment with the overall UX/UI strategy

Communicate UX/UI strategy and design principles to stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Operational Excellence:

Provide subject matter expertise related to UX/UI design and support the design of new solutions

Assess the impact of UX/UI design on business processes and feasibility

Drive business process changes and readiness related to UX/UI implementation

Improve operations with the Product teams to ensure a consistent cycle of improvement of all products

Team Leadership and Development:

Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of UX/UI designers

Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous development within the team

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

Master's degree in a relevant field

UX/UI Strategy: experience developing long-term UX/UI strategies, including roadmaps, KPIs, and metrics to measure success and align with business goals

Significant experience in Retail and/or Luxury with proven records

Understanding of Luxury environment and its implications on clients and staff

UX/UI Design Expertise: deep knowledge of user experience and user interface design principles, including information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and usability standards.

User Research and Testing: proficiency in conducting and overseeing user research methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing) and analyzing qualitative/quantitative data to inform design decisions.

Design Tools: hands-on experience with industry-standard tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar for prototyping, wireframing, and creating high-fidelity designs

Design Systems: experience building and maintaining scalable design systems to ensure consistency across digital products

Prototyping and Wireframing: ability to create and oversee rapid prototyping and wireframing to test and validate design concepts early in the process

Project Management: knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to oversee design workflows, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards

Accessibility Standards: expertise in WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) to ensure inclusive, accessible designs for diverse user groups

Industry Trends and Technology: awareness of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, AR/VR, voice interfaces) and their application to UX/UI to keep the organization competitive

Self-starter, flexible with ambiguity, and able to think outside the box under high pressure.

Ability to engage and communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders with diverging expectations (from C-levels to operations) with the appropriate functional versatility and emotional intelligence to become a trusted and legitimate business partner.
