Senior Full-Stack Java and Front-End Engineer

Jelurida is looking to hire a senior full-stack Java and front-end engineer to participate in the development of our Ardor blockchain platform, with a focus on the browser based wallet UI.

Initially, you will be responsible for the full design and development of a modern blockchain explorer, to allow users to easily visualize, navigate, and trace the variety of transactions conducted on the Ardor platform, and to provide statistical information on the overall blockchain activity.

After becoming familiar with the Ardor blockchain design and API, you will subsequently assist the core blockchain team in the development of the next iteration of our blockchain platform, Ardor 3.0, with a particular focus on user experience and interface.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with modern UI frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular and others is a must. You need to be able to write modern UI code and make decisions about libraries and tools to be used in order to simplify and streamline our UI development.

• You must have goodunderstanding of the core Java platform, excellent object-oriented design skills, strong analytical thinking, and problem solving abilities.

• You should have experience with server-side core Java applications, relational databases, servlets, networking, multi-threaded programming, and design patterns. You will be expected to write clean, understandable and self-documented code, paying attention to performance and concurrency issues.

• You must be able to work independently and to take a project through the full development lifecycle, from conception to completion.

• Previous experience with blockchain platforms, financial applications, and cryptography, is not required but would be very helpful.

• If you are in Lugano, you will be welcome to work in our office, but otherwise the position is telecommuting only. We offer flexible working hours and a no-nonsense work environment.

• Fluency in written and verbal English is required.
