Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team of around 1,700 people worldwide to help power up the traveller's journey for millions of holidaymakers. If you are passionate about design, writing and testing high‑quality software using practices such as TDD, DDD, Clean Code or SOLID Principles, you might be the perfect fit.

Impact and Responsibilities

  • Design, write and test high‑quality software using TDD, DDD, Clean Code or SOLID Principles.
  • Create resilient, secure, and performant applications capable of serving millions of requests per day.
  • Define the best technical solution and infrastructure for new features together with architects, focusing on CI/CD.
  • Be responsible for the quality, performance, reliability, and scalability of deliverables.
  • Use technical expertise to proactively resolve complex issues, considering business needs.
  • Contribute positively to the team’s technical growth by sharing knowledge with peers.
  • Influence and guide engineers throughout the product engineering department.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders from multiple teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Qualifications

Core Expertise

  • Strong experience as a Software Engineer programming in JVM (Java or Kotlin).
  • Previous experience with Clean Code, SOLID principles and an Agile mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills and data‑driven decision making.
  • Ability to understand business requirements.
  • Positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Growth mindset.
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.

Desirable

  • Previous working experience in a startup or product company.
  • Previous experience with XP practices.
