At adidas, we’re reimagining our global logistics network to deliver speed, sustainability, and efficiency. As our Senior Manager – Logistics Network Management, you will be shaping how millions of products reach athletes and customers worldwide.

This is your opportunity to lead global logistics strategies, optimize the Inbound Network of how the product moves from our factories to the DCs globally and build resilience into the future of our supply chain. You will be the architect of our global risk mitigation plan, ensuring we anticipate challenges before they arise and keep product moving under any conditions.

By introducing AI and advanced analytics into our logistics landscape, you’ll help us shift from reactive problem-solving to a truly proactive, predictive supply chain.

This role thrives in ambiguity. You’ll be expected to define black box ideas, identify opportunities that others may not see, and create clarity in unstructured situations — transforming bold ideas into scalable global solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Shape the network of tomorrow

Design and implement global logistics strategies that balance cost, speed, sustainability, and resilience

Build a Global risk mitigation framework, anticipating disruptions and creating proactive contingency plans for the Inbound Logistics Network

Build Frameworks to leverage AI, predictive analytics, and automation to improve forecasting, scenario planning, and decision-making

Own the global ocean freight forecast, ensuring capacity security and adaptability in our supply chain

Lead network analysis and drive standardization across markets with data-backed insights

Lead global projects that matter

Drive cross-functional initiatives with visibility at the highest levels

Manage complex dependencies, influence diverse stakeholders, and drive consensus among senior leadership across geographies

Translate strategy into action through structured project management and measurable outcomes

Inspire people & build teams

Lead diverse project teams across markets, functions, and cultures

Coach, guide, and empower colleagues — even beyond formal reporting lines

Role model adidas leadership behaviours, celebrating collaboration and team success

Deliver measurable results

Build business cases and track delivery against KPIs and budgets

Use insights, automation, and AI-driven tools to create a predictive, proactive supply chain

Ensure compliance with adidas standards while driving innovation and simplification

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

  • Partner with global SCM, market teams, origins, destinations, customs, Procurement, Supply Planning and logistics providers
  • Build strong relationships to enable alignment and fast decision-making
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership at a VP, SVP level on progress, risks, and opportunities

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • A strategic thinker with 6-8 years of experience in supply chain and logistics, ideally on a global scale.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity
  • Proven success in network optimization, resilience building, and logistics risk management.
  • Familiarity with AI, advanced analytics, or digital transformation in supply chain / logistics.
  • Strong influencer and communicator who can align teams and stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Analytical and business-minded, with expertise in data-driven decision-making.
  • Passionate about people development and cross-cultural collaboration.
  • Fluent in English; verbal and written
  • Project Management certification (PMI or equivalent) preferred.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four-year college or university degree with focus on Supply Chain Management, or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Min 6-8 years of progressive work experience in mid to large-scale organizations optimizing complex logistics network
  • Strong experience with managing complex projects related to transportation and process re-engineering
  • PMI / Project Management certified preferred
  • Data Analytics and Data Modelling skills in PowerBI, Phython, etc.
