Plant Controller Switzerland (m / f / d)

As Plant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of our production site in Seewis. You will collaborate with the local management team and global operations leadership to drive informed decision-making, optimize processes, and ensure adherence to international standards and directives. You will report directly to the Plant Manager and the Head of Controlling Global Operations.
- Actively participate in the plant leadership team, providing detailed business updates through monthly KPI reporting and insightful analyses of site performance.
- Support the business unit head and portfolio management team in analyzing and understanding market and business trends.
- Oversee all financial activities for the production site, fostering collaboration across departments to enhance financial transparency and process improvements.
- Manage product cost accounting, standard cost accounting, investment (CapEx and innovation), and cost center controlling with a focus on variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with group guidelines.
- Lead the budgeting process to align with operational and strategic objectives.
- Improve working capital efficiency with a strong focus on inventory management and optimization.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards, including Internal Control Systems (ICS), and serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with the management team to initiate and implement continuous improvement projects, driving operational and financial efficiency.
Your profile :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Controller in a manufacturing operations environment.
- Proven experience supporting LEAN, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Strong business acumen with a continuous improvement mindset and operational focus.
- Quick thinker with critical problem-solving skills, and a reputation for reliability.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex financial concepts into actionable insights for non-financial colleagues.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm to engage with both financial and non-financial topics to improve overall business performance.
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office tools, with the ability to leverage technology to drive insights and efficiencies.
- Fluency in German and English is essential.
