Senior Automation Test Engineer

Welcome to DEKRA Arbeit. For a client of ours, we are currently looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer in Zürich.

Your Role:

• Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks and test cases for web and backend applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, andոք product managers to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
• Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs, and assist in root cause analysis.
• Create performance and load testing scripts to ensure scalable and reliable systems.
• Continuously contribute to process improvements in our testing and quality assurance workflows.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning and estimation.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 3–6 years of experience in test automation.
• Proficient in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and agile practices.
• Experience with testing APIs using tools such as Postman or REST-assured.
• Fluency in German and English.
