THE POSITION
We seek a Financial - Commercial Analyst to join the Financial Analysis department supporting MSC Cargo organization. The department provides financial analyses to Management Liners and Planning to improve overall profitability.
YOUR IMPACT
The Financial - Commercial Analyst will:
- Analyze MSC Trades and Services, examining operational, commercial, and financial aspects to identify profitability drivers.
- Recommend ways to improve profitability to relevant stakeholders.
- Simulate net results for new or modified services, analyze outcomes, and present findings to Management or Liners.
- Estimate preliminary voyage profitability after vessels call the last port of load.
- Assist Liners in benchmarking customer value, globally or trade-specific.
- Complete monthly business analyses as requested by Management.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Shipping experience is highly advantageous.
- Degree in Finance, Business Management, or Maritime background.
- 5-8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with accuracy and precision.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Location: Geneva.
