THE POSITION

We seek a Financial - Commercial Analyst to join the Financial Analysis department supporting MSC Cargo organization. The department provides financial analyses to Management Liners and Planning to improve overall profitability.

YOUR IMPACT

The Financial - Commercial Analyst will:

• Analyze MSC Trades and Services, examining operational, commercial, and financial aspects to identify profitability drivers.
• Recommend ways to improve profitability to relevant stakeholders.
• Simulate net results for new or modified services, analyze outcomes, and present findings to Management or Liners.
• Estimate preliminary voyage profitability after vessels call the last port of load.
• Assist Liners in benchmarking customer value, globally or trade-specific.
• Complete monthly business analyses as requested by Management.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Shipping experience is highly advantageous.
• Degree in Finance, Business Management, or Maritime background.
• 5-8 years of experience in a similar role.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills with accuracy and precision.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location: Geneva.
• Full-time, permanent role.

• EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit (B-C) required.
