Are you passionate about quality, compliance, and leadership? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Quality Unit to lead and evolve our Quality Management System (QMS) for Swiss Sales and Central Services. This is a strategic leadership role with a direct impact on patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
- You will ensure compliance with ISO 13485, MDR 2017/745, GDP, GMP, and Swissmedic regulations
- You will play a key role in aligning quality initiatives with corporate goals and fostering a strong quality culture across the organization
- Lead and develop the Quality Unit team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
- Define and implement the quality strategy for Sales CH and Central Services
- Oversee QMS performance, audits, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as the primary liaison with Swissmedic, Notified Bodies, and other regulatory authorities
- Ensure compliance with HMG, MepV, and internal B. Braun standards
- Serve as IMS Process Owner and Coordinator for assigned processes
- Support product lifecycle management and supplier qualification processes
Your profile
- University degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in quality management within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 13485, MDR, GDP, GMP, and Swiss regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Fluent in German and English (French is a plus)
