Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Strategy to join our dynamic team at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories in Basel, Switzerland. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our European Business, driving growth, and ensuring our competitive edge in the generic pharmaceutical market. The role will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and will report into the Head of Strategy, Portfolio and Product Management for the European generics Business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Work with senior leadership to define business strategy and support the Strategic Planning Process for the Business.
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Formulate and execute strategic initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and market share.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic projects including analytical and strategic evaluation of new business opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Business Reviews: Define the agenda for performance reviews for each business unit, outlining annual aspirations and 3-5 year goals within the planning cycle.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to support organizational transformation.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Business Communication: Provide support for important business presentations for internal and external stakeholders such as Senior Leadership, Board of Directors, Shareholders, Investors etc.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to define and communicate the company's vision, mission, and values.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Pharmaceuticals, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning, change management, or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Previous experience with pharmaceuticals business
  • Commercial and marketing experience related to OTC, Branded, and Generics products
  • Experience in presentations preparation for CXO levels
  • Experience with innovator companies or brand name global consulting organizations
